The PPP Directorate has concluded a successful week-long benchmarking engagement with the Namibian PPP Unit, culminating in a closing session that reflected on the valuable lessons, experiences and partnerships forged throughout the visit.
During the study tour, the delegation gained firsthand insights into Kenya’s Public Private Partnership (PPP) framework through technical engagements and visits to flagship PPP projects in the transport, energy and housing sectors. The visit provided practical perspectives on project preparation, implementation and institutional coordination.
Speaking on behalf of the DG-PPP, the PPP Legal Services Director, Neala Wanjala thanked the Namibian delegation for the productive engagement and expressed confidence that the partnership would continue into the future and contribute to the successful delivery of PPP projects in both Kenya and Namibia.
In her closing remarks, Head of the Namibian Delegation, Hileni Stefanus expressed appreciation to the PPP Directorate for the warm hospitality and knowledge shared, noting that the insights and practical lessons gained would greatly support the implementation of PPP projects in Namibia.
