Directorate team undergoes training on Business Case Development for PPP projects

A huge congratulations to our PPP team for successfully completing the ‘Business Case Development’ Training for PPP Projects! The course, conducted by experts from the UK’s Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) in Nairobi, was based on the ‘Five Case Model’ currently used by the IPA to evaluate commercially viable PPP projects. This model guides the development of comprehensive business cases that cover the Strategic, Economic, Commercial, Financial, and Management aspects, ensuring a thorough evaluation of a project’s feasibility when making investment decisions. The training aimed to equip participants with the knowledge to assess project proposals from Contracting Authorities and make informed investment decisions through a holistic evaluation. All participants excelled in this 5-day assessment-based course. The training was generously sponsored by the British High Commission.

Well done, Team!
