The Government of Kenya has launched an ambitious Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project to develop a state-of-the-art training complex and associated facilities for the College of Health Sciences (CHS) at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) in Eldoret. This innovative project aims to address the critical shortage of healthcare workers in Kenya by providing modern and well-equipped facilities for quality education, training, and student wellbeing.
The project will be developed on a 15-acre site in Eldoret, and will feature teaching and accommodation facilities, state-of-the-art skills labs, and other facilities. The Government of Kenya is committed to investing in the health sector and providing opportunities for Kenyans to access quality education and training. This PPP project is a testament to the government’s commitment to addressing the shortage of healthcare workers and enhancing healthcare-based learning in Kenya.
Private sector partners are being invited to submit proposals for the design, delivery, and management of the state-of-the-art facility. The project will provide a pipeline of skilled and knowledgeable healthcare workers who are equipped to meet the demands of the industry andwill contribute to the growth and development of the healthcare sector in Kenya.
