The Public Private Partnerships Act Cap 430, allows a Private Party to submit a
Privately Initiated Proposal (PIP) to a Contracting Authority. Section 40 to 44 of
the PPP Act outlines the conditions and procedure for consideration and evaluation
of a PIP. Accordingly, this document provides a summary of the Sabaki Water
Carrier project in line with the National Treasury Circular for Public Disclosure on
PIPs.
