Ultra-Modern Medical Training Hub Planned for Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Through PPP

Ultra-Modern MThe Government of Kenya, through the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) Board, has issued a Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) for the development of a state-of-the-art medical training complex and associated facilities for the College of Health Sciences (CHS). The project, to be implemented under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework, will be located in Eldoret, Kenya.This landmark initiative seeks to address the critical shortage of healthcare professionals in the country by establishing modern, well-equipped spaces that support high-quality education, training, and student welfare. The planned development – spanning a 15-acre site – will include academic and residential facilities, advanced skills laboratories, and a range of complementary amenities.The Government of Kenya remains committed to strengthening the health sector by expanding opportunities for high-quality training and capacity building. This PPP project underscores that commitment by promoting excellence in healthcare education and enabling a sustainable pipeline of competent and industry-ready healthcare workers.Private sector partners are invited to submit proposals for the design, development, and management of this world-class training complex.
